At this time there is a 1 week lead time for engravings to be processed.<\/p>\n<p>Serial numbers are\u00a0<strong>NOT<\/strong>\u00a0required in some states.\u00a0<strong>This engraving service is not for registering \u201cassault weapons.\u201d\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We use a powerful laser to precision engrave text to a depth greater than 0.003 inches as required by ATF\u2019s specification for serial number marking. To meet ATF serial number requirements, the following information must appear:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Serial Number<\/strong>: Enter your desired serial number in this box. We recommend using less than 12 characters of text. You can use letters, numbers, or combination of both. ATF requires serial numbers to be unique for each firearm you serialize. Every serial number engraving will start with S\/N:\u00a0<\/li>\n<li><strong>Caliber<\/strong>: We will mark your receiver with \u201cCal: Multi\u201d as shown in photos.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Manufacturer\u2019s Name<\/strong>: Enter the name of the person who will complete the lower. Maximum of 30 characters of text including spaces. We may have to split it into two lines of text if you exceed 14 characters. We highly recommend using your real full first and last name.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Manufacturer\u2019s City and State<\/strong>: Enter the city and state of residence for the person who will complete the lower. Use a 2 letter state abbreviation. Maximum 30 characters of text including spaces and commas.
